Residents as Teachers & Leaders
McGaw residents and fellows will serve as supervisors and educators for Feinberg students and more junior GME trainees. Teaching is a crucial part of your training. To support this, McGaw has developed a curriculum to prepare you for teaching and assessment roles. These modules must be completed annually, with an attestation in New Innovations (NI).
**Please note: All learning modules listed below are hosted on the Feinberg Academy of Medical Educators (FAME) website through the Northwestern Cloud CME portal. You will need to log into your Cloud CME account to access modules.
Required Modules
All McGaw trainees must complete the following two modules and attest to their completion in New Innovations to meet the RATL requirement:
- Effective Learning: Strategies for Educators, Trainees, and Students
- Written Assessment in Clinical Settings
